SMAN 3 Bandung has an annual event that is called Festival Budaya (Culture Festival). This event is held to show a lot of culture from Indonesia to many people. The purpose is to persuade many people (especially Indonesian) to preserve the traditional culture.
This year, SMAN 3 has held that event on 10th September 2016 at Lapangan Bali named "Megantara".
The ticket price is cheap, if you bought it before 10th September, you just had to pay 30k, and if you buy it on the spot, you have to pay 35k. The gate was open at 10 AM and close at 5 PM.
For #32019, we had to send 3 people from each class to join the fashion show. They wore traditional cloth from many tribes in Indonesia. We also must send 10 people to join the parade in the morning (7AM) and i was one of that 10 people from X MIPA 10. The parade was held to promote the event so many people come and join Megantara. We walked around Belitung Street, Merdeka Street, Jawa Street, and end up in Bali Street. After that, we went back to Lapangan Bali and enjoyed the show.

Major of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, attended this event. He said that Megantara is a very good event, because from this event, we can showed our culture to many people. It's okay to follow the trend, but we must preserve our traditional culture.
In Megantara, there were so much stand, such as food stands, drink stands and game stands. You could buy many traditional foods here. There were also the performances from many extracurricular, such as MK3 (Musik Klasik), KV3 (Kelompok Vocal), TsT (Tiloe's Theatre), KPA 3 (Kelompok Paduan Angklung), Band, and many others. The performances mixed between west culture and traditional culture. Amazing!
At the end of Megantara, there were The Changcuters and RAN. They performed very well until 9.30 PM Everybody enjoyed and sang together. We jumped, we laughed, we spent the night with happy feeling!
